STORY EXCERPT
When I pulled into the parking lot near my appointment an hour later, I was jumped by two armed men who demanded my car keys and my purse. It was an entirely different scenario than I had imagined—
I thought that if my car were going to be stolen, it would be while I was in the building. Fortunately, my angel hadn’t abandoned me. He told me, “Scream with all your might,” and this time I listened to him. I didn’t even know I had it in me to scream so loud, but that’s exactly what I did. My scream attracted the attention of people in the building, and a woman in the parking lot started leaning on her horn. The eyes of the carjacker closest to me got as big as saucers, and they both ran away.
